Overview

What Is The OET Test?

OET is a different animal from the usual English exams, and that is the whole point of it. It tests your English inside real healthcare situations, patient notes, referral letters, consultations, the actual stuff of a clinical day. General exam prep just does not cut it here.

So this course is built for healthcare professionals specifically. Nurses, doctors, pharmacists, allied health. You prepare across all four sub tests with materials and role plays drawn from real clinical scenarios, and your tutor gives feedback aimed squarely at the grade your registration needs. It fits around demanding shifts, because we know that is the reality you are working with.

Built For Healthcare

Why General English Prep Does Not Cut It

OET is different by design. It tests your English inside real healthcare situations, patient consultations, referral letters, case notes, the actual stuff of a clinical day. So general English coaching, or even IELTS prep, misses the point. The content has to be profession specific.

That is exactly how we prepare you, with materials and role plays drawn from real clinical scenarios for your role. If your registration board actually accepts IELTS instead, and some do, our IELTS and PTE courses are there, but for most healthcare professionals OET is the natural fit.

The Four Sub-Tests

Preparation Around Your Real Work

You prepare across all four sub-tests, listening, reading, writing and speaking, with the writing built around referral and discharge letters and the speaking around patient role plays. Your tutor gives feedback pitched at the specific grade your registration needs, not just a vague pass.

Because it fits around demanding shifts, the classes are flexible, which matters when you are a working nurse or doctor. If your general English needs a little strengthening under the clinical focus, our spoken English classes can run alongside.

FAQs

Questions, Answered

Who is the OET for?

Healthcare professionals who need to prove their English to work or study abroad, mainly. Nurses, doctors, pharmacists, dentists, physiotherapists and other allied health roles. If a registration board or employer is asking for OET, this is what prepares you for it. It is profession specific by design, so general English learners are usually better off elsewhere.

Is the content really healthcare specific?

Yes, genuinely. OET builds its tasks around real clinical scenarios, so the writing is referral and discharge letters, the speaking is patient role plays, the reading is medical texts. Our coaching mirrors all of that. You practise on the kind of material you deal with at work, which honestly makes it feel far more relevant than a generic English course ever could.

Do you cover all four sub-tests?

All four, with proper attention to each. Listening, reading, writing and speaking, tuned to the healthcare context of the exam. The writing letters and the speaking role plays tend to need the most focused work, so your tutor spends time there. You also get feedback pitched at the specific grade your registration requires, not just a vague pass.

Can I try a class first?

Yes. Book a Rs 299 demo and meet your trainer before deciding. You will see how the healthcare focused coaching works and where your English needs the most attention for OET. It is a real session that fits around your shift, not a sales call. Then you decide, no pressure.

Who is the OET for?

Healthcare professionals who need to prove their English to work or study abroad, mainly nurses, doctors, pharmacists, dentists, physiotherapists and other allied health roles. If a registration board or employer is asking for OET, this prepares you for it. It is profession specific by design, so general English learners are usually better served by our other courses. Check your board’s requirement, then your tutor builds around it.

Is the content really healthcare specific?

Yes, genuinely. OET builds its tasks around real clinical scenarios, so the writing is referral and discharge letters, the speaking is patient role plays, the reading is medical texts. Our coaching mirrors all of that, so you practise the exact kind of material you deal with at work. That relevance is the whole reason a healthcare focused course beats generic English prep for this exam.

What grade do I need to pass?

It depends on your registration board, but most require a grade B in each sub-test, which maps to a solid level of professional English. Some accept a C+ in certain areas, so check your specific requirement. Once you know your target grade, your tutor builds the preparation to hit it and gives feedback pitched at that standard, especially on the writing and speaking where healthcare professionals most often need focused work.

Can I prepare around my hospital shifts?

Yes, and the flexibility is deliberate because we know shift work is the reality. Classes run from early morning to late evening and are one to one, so you book around your rota rather than the other way round. If a shift changes, you move the session. It is built to fit a working healthcare professional’s unpredictable schedule, so your preparation does not have to compete with your job.

How much do these classes cost?

Plans start at ₹10,000 a month for daily live one to one classes, five days a week. You can also take two or three months at a time. Most people who go with the three month plan see the biggest jump, so that is the one we call best value. Every plan opens with a ₹299 demo, so you sit through a real class before you pay for more. No large payment up front, and no pressure if it turns out the fit is not right.

How are the online classes conducted?

It is live, just your tutor and you, at a time you pick. You join from home on a phone, tablet or laptop using a link we send over, so there is no travelling and no crowded classroom to sit in. All you really need is a quiet corner and a decent internet connection. And if your signal drops mid class, your tutor waits or you carry on later. Nothing is lost.

Can I choose my own class timings?

Yes, and this tends to be the bit learners like most. Slots run from early morning to late evening, so classes fit around a job, school or a full house instead of the other way round. You tell your tutor what suits you and settle into a rhythm that actually holds week to week. If something comes up and your week shifts, you move the timing. It stays flexible, on purpose.

What if I miss a class?

Things come up, so a missed class is not the end of the world. Give your tutor a heads up before the session and you just reschedule it for another slot. You do not lose a class you have already paid for, and you do not end up behind either. The plan bends around your week when it has to. The one ask is simple, tell them in advance where you can.

How soon will I see results?

You start speaking from the very first session, not after weeks of dry theory, so it feels different almost straight away. Real, noticeable progress usually shows up within a few weeks of steady practice. How quickly, honestly, comes down to you, how often you show up and how much you use the English outside class. The learners who practise between sessions move fastest. Give it a month and you will feel the shift.
