IELTS General Training, Made Practical
IELTS General Training tends to carry a very specific kind of weight. A work visa, a move abroad, a permanent residency application, sometimes a family reunion. Real plans, riding on a band score, which is a lot of pressure to sit with.
This course takes that pressure and turns it into a plan. The reading and writing here focus on everyday and workplace English rather than academic topics, which is exactly what the General test throws at you. You practise all four modules, sit proper mocks and get feedback that targets your weak spots, so the score you need stops feeling out of reach.
IELTS General Is For Work and Migration
IELTS General Training is the version for people moving abroad for work, migration or permanent residency, not university study. Its reading and writing focus on everyday and workplace English, including the letter task that catches a lot of people out. If you are actually applying to a university, you need IELTS Academic instead.
Your tutor confirms which one fits your plans in the demo, so you never prepare for the wrong test. If a computer-based option suits you better for migration, PTE Academic is accepted in many of the same places and worth considering.
Practical Practice, Real Feedback
Because the General test leans on everyday English, a lot of preparation is about handling practical, real-world tasks confidently and to the marking criteria. You practise all four modules, sit proper mocks and get feedback aimed squarely at your weak spots.
If your everyday English itself needs shoring up first, our spoken English classes pair well alongside. A stronger foundation makes every module easier and lifts your ceiling.

Questions, Answered
How is this different from IELTS Academic?
The main difference is focus. General Training uses everyday and workplace English in its reading and writing, and it is the version used for work and migration, not university study. Academic is for admissions. If you are moving abroad for a job or PR, General is almost always the one you want. Your tutor confirms it in the demo so there is no mix up.
Do you provide mock tests?
Yes. You sit full length mock tests under real conditions, then review them with your tutor to find where the marks are slipping. That review is honestly where the improvement happens, more than the practice itself. By exam day the format feels routine, which takes a lot of the nerves out of it. Familiarity does half the work.
Are all modules covered?
All four, with real attention to each. Listening, reading, general writing, which includes the letter task people often underprepare for, and speaking. Your tutor leans into whichever modules are dragging your band down rather than spreading time evenly. That is the fastest way to lift an overall score, and it is how we run it.
Can I try a class first?
Yes. Book a Rs 299 demo and meet your trainer before deciding anything. You will see where your English stands against your target and how the sessions work. It is a genuine class, not a sales call. Then you choose, with no pressure either way. Most people feel clearer about their plan after just one session.
How is General different from Academic IELTS?
General Training uses everyday and workplace English in its reading and writing, and it is used for work and migration. Academic uses academic material and is for university admission. The listening and speaking are the same across both. If you are moving abroad for a job or PR, General is almost always your version. Your tutor confirms it in the demo so there is no costly mix up.
What band do I need for migration?
It depends on the country and visa category you are applying under, so check your specific requirement first. Common migration targets sit around band six to seven, but it varies. Once you know your target, your tutor builds the preparation to hit it and focuses on the modules holding you back. Tell us the score you need in the demo and we work backward from there.
Do you give mock tests and feedback?
Yes. You sit full length mock tests under real conditions, then review them with your tutor to find where marks are slipping. That review is where the improvement really happens. By exam day the format feels familiar, which takes a lot of the nerves out of it. Familiarity does half the work on test day, so the mocks matter as much as the lessons.
How soon can I be ready?
For many learners, four to eight weeks of regular classes does it, though it depends on your current English and target band. If you mainly need exam technique, it is faster. If the underlying English needs work, give it more time. Your tutor gives you a realistic timeline after the demo mock, so you can plan your test date sensibly rather than rushing or leaving it too late.
How much do these classes cost?
Plans start at ₹9,800 a month for daily live one to one classes, five days a week. You can also take two or three months at a time. Most people who go with the three month plan see the biggest jump, so that is the one we call best value. Every plan opens with a ₹299 demo, so you sit through a real class before you pay for more. No large payment up front, and no pressure if it turns out the fit is not right.
How are the online classes conducted?
It is live, just your tutor and you, at a time you pick. You join from home on a phone, tablet or laptop using a link we send over, so there is no travelling and no crowded classroom to sit in. All you really need is a quiet corner and a decent internet connection. And if your signal drops mid class, your tutor waits or you carry on later. Nothing is lost.
Can I choose my own class timings?
Yes, and this tends to be the bit learners like most. Slots run from early morning to late evening, so classes fit around a job, school or a full house instead of the other way round. You tell your tutor what suits you and settle into a rhythm that actually holds week to week. If something comes up and your week shifts, you move the timing. It stays flexible, on purpose.
What if I miss a class?
Things come up, so a missed class is not the end of the world. Give your tutor a heads up before the session and you just reschedule it for another slot. You do not lose a class you have already paid for, and you do not end up behind either. The plan bends around your week when it has to. The one ask is simple, tell them in advance where you can.
How soon will I see results?
You start speaking from the very first session, not after weeks of dry theory, so it feels different almost straight away. Real, noticeable progress usually shows up within a few weeks of steady practice. How quickly, honestly, comes down to you, how often you show up and how much you use the English outside class. The learners who practise between sessions move fastest. Give it a month and you will feel the shift.
